Zanzibar 2026 – Community Impact & Sustainable Development
As part of its annual Trader Meeting in Zanzibar, ElbOil partnered with African Impact and local community organisations to support a community centre through hands-on volunteering activities.
Over two days, ElbOil employees contributed to renovation projects, painted community facilities, maintained vegetable gardens, and supported initiatives aimed at improving local infrastructure and wellbeing.
The project reflects ElbOil’s commitment to corporate responsibility, community engagement, and sustainable development. By working alongside local partners, the team helped create lasting social impact while strengthening connections with the community.
Through its Impact Trips, ElbOil combines global business with meaningful action, supporting local communities and fostering positive change beyond the maritime industry.
Nepal 2026 – School Construction Project
In partnership with local stakeholders, ElbOil supports the construction of an earthquake-resistant school building for the Shree Pipaldanda Basic School.
The project includes new classrooms and sanitation facilities, designed with sustainable materials and adapted to local environmental conditions.
It aims to provide a safe, resilient, and long-term learning environment for children in one of Nepal’s remote and underserved regions.
Pakistan 2025 – Life-Saving Wells in Skardu
Together with the DGF Foundation, ElbOil is helping to construct vital water wells in the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan—an area underserved by large-scale aid organizations. Our pilot well now serves as a blueprint for more than 100 planned future installations.
Mozambique 2024 – Mangroves for Climate Action
As a proud supporter of the Blue Forest Project, ElbOil is contributing to the planting of over 10 million mangroves. This large-scale reforestation program not only captures CO₂ but also creates sustainable local employment. Over 120,000 trees have already been planted—community-led and fully verified.
Uganda 2023 – Water Filtration for Health
Turkey 2023 – Earthquake Relief Efforts
- Galatasaray SK donated to build fully equipped container homes.
- Money donated to Darüşşafaka, a historic educational organization, to expand dormitory capacity for 170 orphaned children.
